In fact, I believe I have become addicted to it. (Don't worry is not addicting in the sense that some drugs can be!) It is the first I have to drink in the morning, and I have probably 3-4 more during the day. Rainforest Mate is best enjoyed with just one heaping teaspoon of sugar, since it has its own bouquet which would otherwise be obscured.

I spent a summer in Paraguay and have very fond memories of drinking yerba mate there. I was disappointed to find Might Leaf's version to be too froo-froo. It's very floral with strong licorice flavor. Not a bad tea if that's what you're looking for but I was hoping for more authentic yerba mate flavors.

The Rainforest Mate was one of the three teas we could choose for the service. It is excellent! Before we left Dallas, we bought out the Whole Foods Market (at least the four boxes they had on the shelf). I am glad to see that it is available through Amazon's "Subscribe and Save" program. The flavor is subtle and not at all bitter. As the previous reviewer indicated, I enjoy it with a little bit of sweetner.
